本片改編自法國文壇龔固爾獎得主巴斯卡季聶的小說《亞美莉雅別墅》，安是鋼琴演奏家，她的美好生活，被一個劈腿之吻顛覆。目睹深愛15年的男人偷腥，安決定一切歸零，重新找回自己。於是她取消演出、賣掉公寓、變換造型、告別家人，讓自己人間蒸發。之後她來到一座島嶼，佔據崖邊的空屋，跟自己認真相處。在無盡的大海面前，安開始放空，讓一波波未知，刷洗出一個她不知道的安。
Adapted from the novel by prize-winning author Pascal Quignard (All The World's Mornings), Villa Amalia is the story of Ann, a musician, whose life is turned upside down by a kiss. When she sees Thomas kissing another woman, Ann makes a clean break, leaving him and everything else far behind her. Suddenly unsure of everything that seemed so certain, Ann knows only that she must change her life and become someone else to find herself. With her music and the friendship of Georges, who pops out of her distant past, she sets off on a journey that will take her to an island where the Villa Amalia stands. |

A family’s peaceful existence is threatened when a busy highway is opened only meters away from their isolated house in the middle of nowhere. Refusing to move, Marthe, Michel and their three children find innovative ways to adapt to their new environment. They continue their happy-go-lucky routine despite the daily stress of hundreds of noisy speeding cars. But suspicions about the highway’s unknown long-term dangers cause family tension. Remaining in the disrupted household might not be so easy, but it’s still their home. |
