| 劇情簡介 |
阿普出身在一個窮困的家庭，一家四口全靠父親在外打臨時工得以糊口，但誰也不知道父親什麼時候會回家。阿普與姐姐最要好，而在一個暴風雨的日子，姐姐死了，為了逃避悲痛的記憶他們決定離鄉背井，尋找新的生活……
The time is early twentieth century, a remote village
in Bengal. The film deals with a Brahmin family, a priest,
his wife, daughter Durga. Later on, Apu is born. With
the little boy's arrival, Apu; happiness, play and exploration
uplife the children's daily life. Durga and Apu share
an intimate bond. One day, Durga is very ill and dies.
Then, the family leaves their village in search of a new
life.

| 劇情簡介 |
阿普因?缺錢被迫放棄學業。朋友邀他去參加個婚禮，但是婚禮卻因為新郎突然精神錯亂而取消，阿普為了不使新娘在村民面前出糗而娶了她，即使他從來沒見過她。而後妻子因難?而死，阿普因此對出生的兒子懷恨在心。
Apu is now a graduate and without a job. Unfazed, He is
writing a novel based on his life, which he hopes will
make him famous. When he meets his old friend Pulu. He
coerces Apu to travel to the wedding of his cousin, Aparna.
On the day of the wedding, the bridegroom turns out to
be mentally deranged and the wedding is canceled. Apu
primarily of out sympathy for the bride and some convincing
by Pulu, agrees to be the substitute groom. He has not
even seen her yet.

| 劇情簡介 |
改編自Prabhat Kumar Mukherjee的同名小說。Doyamoyee的丈夫在外地唸書，而她那位高權重的公公深信她是印度Kali女神的轉世，堅持媳婦必須受到敬仰。當她丈夫知道後返回家中，他嘗試讓父親理解，但父親卻無動於衷，對他來說，那些奇蹟痊癒的人，在在證明他所深信的是真的，但真相又是什麼？
The film is set in 1860 at Chandipur, in rural Bengal,
India. Doyamoyee and her husband Umaprasad live with his
elder brother , his wife and wealthy father who takes
Doyamoyee as an incarnation of the goddess Kali. Hundreds
come for seeking cure from her. To the father, the miracle
cure demonstrates the truth of the his beliefs, but what
is the truth ? |
