公認為20 世紀後半最偉大鋼琴家之一的阿爾弗雷德‧ 布倫德爾（Alfred Brendel），從17 歲的第一場演奏會開始，就以強韌的意志力灌注於琴藝中，從樂曲的精準詮釋、裝飾奏的彈奏處理，帶領觀眾進入他所勾勒的音樂家心靈世界，也被認為是現今德國古典作曲家如貝多芬、舒伯特和莫扎特等人作品最具思想性的詮釋者。2008 年，決定退休的布倫德爾展開了告別巡迴演奏之旅，隨行在側的學生周善祥，也是近年備受矚目、才華洋溢的鋼琴作曲家，隨著旅程的一路開展，師生之間展開了夢想傳承、世代交替的情感交流之旅。

英國知名紀錄片導演、樂評家。曾拍攝多部知名樂手和影人之紀錄片，包括流行歌手喬治男孩、洛史都華、鋼琴家佛萊雪、森納濟斯以及電影導演德瑞克賈曼等，多次贏得國際影展獎項，並曾應邀來台拍攝台灣藝文環境。現定居於英國布里斯托。

Was born on 1947. A documentary filmmaker and writer who lives in Bristol, England. He grew up in Paris and Vienna. His award-winning films include portraits of Boy George, Ravi Shankar, Rod Stewart, Bill Viola, Iannis Xenakis, pianists Alfred Brendel and Leon Fleisher, Derek Jarman.
