麻里厭倦了在東京的都市生活，決定回到海邊的老家西伊豆，開一家剉冰店，店裡只打算提供兩種選擇：蜜柑或是純手工釀製的糖蜜。她開始尋找適合的地點、親自為牆壁上油漆、挑選心儀的家具，正當忙得不可開交之際，家裡來了一位神秘的寄住少女。少女小初因為一場大火在臉上留下顯著的燒傷，她的內心深處更藏著不可抹滅的傷痛。在這笑淚交織的剉冰店，她們找到人生的意義，相扶相持，繼續尋找自己的生活方式。

Mari (Akiko Kikuchi) grew tired of living in Tokyo and decided to move back to her small hometown in Shizuoka Prefecture. She opens a small store selling ice flakes with syrup which she enjoys herself. Mari runs the store with Hajime-chan (Azusa Mine) who has a large burn scar on her face.
